i recently had the same problem. being on a family plan and having Americas choice it seems to be difficult to switch. but the truth is, its not. it is around the same price and allows Internet on your phone. its an easy phone call to Verizon. and the lg dare does require the nationwide plan but trust me its totally worth it cause its an awesome phone!

It’s not possible. Verizon with all new phones force you to go to the nationwide plan. They will especially force to do this with the LG Dare because it has a full html browser wih Rev. A speeds. They will definetely charge you by the mb and not minutes. It’s impossible. You can keep your old phone when you signed the conract for America’s Choise and be on the plan but that’s it.

I purchased the Glyde on the Americas Choice Plan — at Verizon they switched me over to the Nationwide plan at no cost. The only difference is that it allows internet. You will be charged when you use the internet – but you won’t be charged if you don’t use the interent. I actually returned the Glyde – I hated it… I am going to be getting the DARE soon!!

Yes you can, unless you want unlimited Internet access.

Unfortunately no. Because the Dare has a full HTML Web browser you have to switch to the nationwide plan. The pricing of the two plans is exactly the same. The only difference is that the nationwide plan uses megabytes. So now whenever you go on get it now it uses megabytes instead of minutes. The megabytes cost like $2 each or something.

Sorry man i dont think you can i tried to get it with that plan and i had to switch my plan to nationwide plan but its worth it because there are many gree features with that plan for example VZ Navigator
