The newest ultralight notebook from Toshiba, the 12.1-inch Portege R600, has a starting price of $2,099, while the highest prices configuration is available at $2,999. We will take a look at the second system, which is assumed to bring the most out of this high-end series.
The new laptops based on the Toshiba Portege R500 UMPC model, measure just 0.77 inches thick at only 2.4 pounds, integrating a very slim 7-mm DVD Super Multi optical drive. It features the latest EasyGuard Technology with PC Health Monitor, LED backlight transreflective LCD display for great viewability in sunlight or low light environments, long battery life, durable construction, and a 3-year warranty.
