T-Mobile to debut First 8-megapixel camera phone in the US?
2-megapixel camera phones are pretty much standard fare in the US market, and while there have been a couple of 5-megapixel camera phones available already, an 8-megapixel-equipped phone is yet to break into the North American market. Well, that’s all about to change if this latest news holds true.
Leaked shots show that T-Mobile will be the first carrier to offer such a device and it will be from the Samsung camp. According to the provided info, it seems like it’s a US version of the successful Samsung Pixon. It certainly looks like it based on appearance, but as Samsung’s latest offerings usually go, it’s getting even more difficult to tell them apart just by looking at their physical features. Anyway, we won’t pop the bottle of champagne until an official announcement from either T-Mobile or Samsung.
How about you guys? If you had a choice on which 8-megapixel camera phone to bring to the North American market, which phone would it be?
