Sneak peek: Garmin’s Nuvifone
Finally, the wait is over! Well, I am not saying that Garmin has affirmed the launch of Nuvifone, but its the next best thing – a sneak peek! So, in a way, this much awaited navigator does exhibit some of its features just before an anticipated CES release. Needless to say, it isn’t that fair to call it just a navigational device, it could easily live up to the standards of an iPhone.
Technical Specifications: QWERTY keypad, quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE connectivity, navigation application, Google Local, web browser, calendar, E-Mail, Call, Search and View Map, and a multimedia player.
Pricing & Availability: There’s no word on pricing and tentative availability, as of now. Yet, one can’t deny a CES launch.
