Telus BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230 rumored pricing gets leaked
We’ve already heard last year that Telus might be offering the BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8230, but this has yet to happen and Bell has managed to release it first in Canada. However, the latest news from the grapevine is that Telus is just warming up and could be launching it anytime soon now.
The pricing, though it isn’t final, doesn’t look quite as enticing as what Bell is offering. Getting it on a 3-year contract will cost $100 while ditching the whole contract legality will amount to $500. A new plan is also being rumored to be offered along with this RIM flip phone. It’ll cost $32.50 a month which includes 200 minutes, free evening and weekend calls after 6 p.m., 3 months free local calling and unlimited mail and instant messaging. Not bad at all, but the handset pricing is a big turn-off.
Of course, don’t get too excited or disappointed about it just yet as this bit of info still needs to be verified if it is true and legit. For now, let’s just keep our fingers crossed that there will still be some changes prior to its announcement and that it’ll mostly take place in the pricing of the handset.
