The unit runs on a 1.6 GHZ Intel Core С 720QM and 6 GB of DDR3 RAM. The total storage capacity of the hard drive is limited to 500 GB while the graphics card is the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5870 with 1 GB of video card. The dimensions of this unit are 18.4 x 12.4 x 2.2 inches and a total weight of 9.8 pounds including the power adapter. The unit comes with the 64 bit version of the Windows 7 Home Premium operating system. With the total dimensions and the overall weight of this system, it is clear that this notebook is not the best travel companion.

Running the severe battery drain test that includes continuous video playback, you are bound to get about 1 hours and 30 minutes of battery life, which is quite expected considering that we are dealing with a huge laptop that comes with a powerful processor and also a demanding video card. Even so, the Asus G73JH-RBBX05 is a great investment in terms of a good desktop replacement and even a gaming laptop as the video card seems capable of handling the pressure.

The total storage capacity of the hard drive is 500 GB while the graphics card is the nVidia GeForce GT 330M which is swappable with the Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500 MHD. The unit measures 14.4 x 9.8 x 0.95 inches while the total weight of the system is 6.2 pounds of weight including the power adapter. The operating system that is preinstalled with this unit is the 10.6.2 Snow Leopard.

This super cool laptop measures 15.4 inches in diagonal and it comes with a native resolution of 1440 x 900 pixels. Unfortunately, this laptop could have done a lot better since the same resolution was used one the older Apple laptop models that came with 15 inch display. The nVidia GeForce GT 330M is not exactly the best choice when it comes to gaming units but I doubt it that Apple will be producing any gaming notebooks pretty soon and this was not the purpose of the Apple MacBook Pro Spring 2010. As for the battery performance, you should know that this laptop will stay on about 5 hours and 55 minutes even with continuous video playback which is, in fact, one of the most severe battery drain tests ever used.

This is an amazing performance considering the results that you may get when you use this notebook for the more basic computer tasks. Also, you must try to remember that the Apple MacBook Pro Spring 2010 comes with quite a powerful processor so the specs inside would normally justify a lower battery potential and this is one of the main reason why people are going to fall in love with this laptop.
